My lawful bases for using information

UK data-protection law requires a lawful basis for using personal information. Depending on the circumstances, I rely on the following bases.

Steps before entering into a contract and performance of a contract

I use this basis when you ask about a service, request a quotation, discuss a potential project or become a client.

Legitimate interests

My legitimate interest is running and protecting an independent creative business while responding to people who have chosen to contact me. I consider whether the use is necessary and whether it could unfairly affect your rights.
